Today’s demonstrated themes were Officious and Meddlesome (Chinese Paddlefish and Manatee).

One of the concepts pertinent to researching animals and their habitats is learning about conservation status.

Unfortunately, the Chinese Paddlefish was recently deemed as extinct based on current research data. This post is a dedication to the 200 million years they survived on earth.
