Today’s demonstrated themes were Cautious and Hesitant! We discussed many aspects of information gathering and interpretation within the decision-making process!

Pika enjoyed eating some dandelions. He lost track of time. Now he hears a roaring mountain lion. First, he feels Hesitant about traveling back to his den in the darkness. This feeling intensifies into a Cautious attempt to avoid the mountain lion through adapting to the context. He decides to spend the night inside a stone crevice until morning. This choice will be safer than taking a risk in the dark.

Emotions interact and work together to create a balanced response. This is why knowing the values and definitions of more than one emotion can enhance one’s life. One can begin to recognize how circumstances and contexts interact and function based on an emotion’s value.
