“Give me but a firm spot on which to stand, and I shall move the earth.”

-Archimedes-

The Blue-Ringed Octopus is small and dangerous as they are one of the worlds most venomous marine animals. Their venom contains the powerful neurotoxin tetrodotoxin. Periodically referred to in many superhero themed pop culture movies. There is no anti-venom to treat a Blue-Ringed Octopus bite.

Emotional Themes

“If we had no winter, the spring would not be so pleasant: if we did not sometimes taste of adversity, prosperity would not be so welcome.”

-Anne Bradstreet-

Expectations lay the groundwork for emotional anticipation and being creative and flexible is an attribute of leadership. Curiosity is a buffer to despairing and taking into account the concepts of a past, present, and future foster a bigger picture perspective. Children are naturally inquisitive and creative. We should encourage and inspire them to continue asking questions and self-evaluate how to recognize what they are thinking and feeling as well as when they are experiencing stress to know when to apply self-care and deliberate individualistic goals. If we listen to our children and model what it means to express compassion and respect, they are more likely to grow up treating each other in a similar fashion.

“Nine tenths of education is encouragement.”

-Anatole France-

Thank you for joining me on this journey. Creating a comprehensive, evidence-based, and balanced approach curriculum is one of the most humbling, interesting, and insightful adventures I’ve ever ventured upon.

Today’s themes are Blithe/Dedication and Dither/Patience (Snail and Puffer Fish).

Today we explored the value of reflecting on memories, adaptations, patience, and future goal oriented decision-making embedded within Thought Processing Engineering Tools. These concepts integrate into a paragraph examining how the levels of the Earth and plate tectonics interrelate with oceanic activity.
