PERSPECTIVE MONDAY

When we urge someone to succeed we usually say “go for it!”, but since achieving a goal is a process with several variables to continually appraise, interpret, define, and adapt to, the more suitable phrase might be “stay the course!” Hence, seldom is success instantaneous, but rather a continuous process, making self-evaluation an extremely relevant attribute.

Nature is a reminder exemplifying continual adaptation processes. Every cloud, leaf, reflection in the water, and light in the sky is a reminder that if one wants to reach their goal, they must learn to stay the course.

The Emotional Advantage can help!!

There’s a bright spot in every shadow after one discovers the beauty of being in the shade… When the light finally does cast, the darkness amplifies clarity of it’s illumination… Without darkness there is no moment of light… Emotional Intelligence is that moment of light casting through the shadows of confusion to the certainty of understanding and clarity…

THE VALUE IN CREATIVITY!!!

Two months ago, when I first observed this curriculum in action, I was overcome with an emotion. The LOVE through inspiring children, preteens, and adolescents, because they are the gatekeepers to the future!!! Seeing them process the material and self-generate their own perspectives and goals has been the highlight of my summer!! This is what touching a piece of history feels like!!!

One of the biggest reasons kids LOVE The Emotional Advantage (First Edition) Volume One (All Ages) is because they not only process fun and inspiring information and illustrations, but also self-generate their own reflections, analysis, and artistic expression. This is how we inspire kids, by offering them a role in creating the outcome!!!

Thank you for letting me share their creativity and artistic expression with you!!!

Here’s a self-generated representation of the emotion: LOVE
